Poster design - Analysed through Ihi and Wehi

Poster 1 - Human Trafficking

Ihi - The use of strong type with the imagery of the women looking directly at you. The barcode is painted boldly painted on the face.
Wehi - You feel confronted by the image and intimidated. The imagery is strong, bold and confronting making you feel uncomfortable and feel as though the poster is persuading you.
Pathos - The use of confronting imagery and quote to make you fear the woman in the imagery

Poster 2 - Inequality of wages in relation to gender

Ihi - The type words you read with the two children, happy boy and sad girl with more information below
Wehi - The sadness in looking and reading and understanding what this poster is saying, feeling this really tugging on the heart strings and creating a feeling of worry around if this is how children are treated how unfair is it really
Pathos - The use of the sad children tugging on heart strings
Logos - With the information

Poster 3 - Women rights

Ihi - The straight portrait with the use of the commonly known google search bar googling about women and the suggestions being very gender in-equal
Wehi -  Being trusting of google and using the techniques of manipulating a trusting source to create information you trust and believe you feel shocked and disturbed and upset at the images with what it is saying and creating
Pathos - The use of emotions through the confronting information
Logos - The google and using the words and text to provide information

Poster 4 - Inequality

Ihi - The American flag with black skinned hands coming through the bars drooped and sad looking
Wehi - You feel sad about the drooped hands and the feeling of trapped branching from this image, it shows racial inequality in America
Pathos - This has the strong use of symbolism and feelings from the positioning of the hands in this image

Poster 5 - Gender Pay Gap

Ihi - The words with the piggy banks of different sizes with the comparison colours representing female and male
Wehi - You feel kinda disappointed as a female looking at this and realising that the difference in your gender means that you will not get paid as much as a male in the same position as you
Pathos - Relying strongly on emotions to understand and react to this poster
